Army ROTC is a college elective that teaches you the skills needed for a successful career. You'll combine classroom time with hands-on experience, and learn leadership and management skills. Additionally, because it's an elective, you can try it out for up to two years. Whatever you decide, the experience you'll have in Army ROTC will give you the confidence you need to be a success in college and beyond. Whether you choose a career in the Army or the corporate world, Army ROTC is "the smartest college course you can take."

ROTC Scholarships
Although no scholarship is required to participate in the Mohawk Battalion, these scholarship opportunities will help fund your college career. Upon graduation, you will embark on an exciting career as an Officer on active duty, in the United States Army Reserves, or the National Guard.

Pays for tuition and fees for the award period
Valued in excess of $200,000 for a 4-year award
$1,200.00 Stipend for textbooks
Monthly stipend of $420.00*

Application decisions are made throughout the academic year on 15 October, 16 January, and 16 March
Apply to Siena College, UAlbany, RPI, Union College, Russell Sage College, or Hudson Valley Community College
